'What you do speaks so loudly, I can't hear what you say.'
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Friday 14 September 2012

I had to catch up on my journalling mingle – only 2 weeks late, oops – but I need to make my September pages, too, so out came the inks, pens and stamps – reluctantly, I have to add because there seems to be so many other things going on at the moment – most of them inside my head...

Anyway, before I show you my journalling I’ll show you the cards I haven’t yet shared, before I forget.

Two more clean and simple cards that I needed quickly.

cands birthday   cands kraft thanks

A cutesy ‘change of character’ card.

sp pink

Another cutesy image, but it’s on one of my favourite background pieces and I really quite like Tatty Button and have a few of her.

 The smile is the key

One of my favourite old PSX word stamps…

See Beauty

… and finally, the pages I just finished.  I started off with a totally different theme, but I’m afraid that this is what my pages became – from the heart, although it’s not so much Paris as France itself and everything linked which tugs at my heart strings – always the same, but this time more deeply than ever for some reason and I genuinely feel torn in two.

AUGUST PAGES JOURNALLING MINGLE CATH

I hope Sandra likes the pages – the poor girl has waited long enough for them and I feel BAD about that!  Sorry, Sandra :-(

Art Journal Journey’s challenge for September is

FACES

so this is my entry.

I’m still in the middle of journalling and still have cards to share, so I’ll be back in the near future.  I must take advantage of this free time before I have to start working again, but I seem to have so much to do and there’s so much I want to fit in.

Thank you for visiting and for your lovely comments.  A warm welcome to my newest followers – I’ll be around to visit sometime soon if I haven’t already – thank you for following – I’ll try to get back to my regular pattern of creating a bit more soon!

Have a great weekend all!

Love your cards and I especially like your journal page. The colour is gorgeous for starters and then there's the theme, one i can warm to and all the sentiments within. Pxx

Oh my goodness, you have been so busy and created such wonderful works of art. Unlike me - who hasn't created a thing for ages - I must rectify that!

Stunning pages and beautiful cards, Cath. The card with the butterfly and the PSX sentiment is my favourite, but they are all fab.

Wow Cath what a lovely collection of cards and all so different.

Can I ask what you stamped with on the kraft card (the white - I've been looking for a decent white for ages).

Lovely journal pages too.

Hope you're doing okay and you're still working.

Really beautiful page! She has this sad look, and the background is so perfect. I hope that you don't have to feel torn for long - it is a stressful feeling, isn't it?

It sounds as if you are busier than ever but still time to produce all those gems. Especially love your purple pages.
Thanks for your comment on my trip to Erddig...we get so much out of out NT membership and we're planning some more trips further afield.
Hoep to see you at Port Sunny soon...

Lovely cards, all of them, and I adore Tatty Button, cute but not sickly cute I would say. Love her anyhow. Who makes her?

Great journal pages, love the colour.

Hope you achieve what you set out to do before work beckons but think of the things you can buy by working.

Hugs, Neet xx
