Friday 1 June 2018

I made a couple of cards for some challenges I noticed, so I thought I’d better post them before they closed them… for a change. I seem to be missing a lot lately, just because I don’t blog them in time Sad smile

The first is for

SIP (Stamp Ink Paper) - Purple, Aqua and Lime

INCREDIBLE

My lime is a little bit washed out, sorry – I probably shouldn’t have oxidised it! This is one of my favourite colour combinations but I rarely sponge it in stripes and maybe I shouldn’t have taken off colour with the stencil… sorry, my head is elsewhere at the moment.

I love the words, but next time I’ll use them with a more appropriate image, lol.

Insects, Bugs, Bees and Butterflies is the challenge at Allsorts and this is my entry…

PAPILLONS

It’s a simple offering – Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserve Oxide background, overstamped with Brilliance Moonlight White.

The butterfly is coloured with Prisma Pencils. I love the Papillons stamp – it’s from a set designed by Isabelle or Isa (of Isa’s Art) with lots of lovely French words about Nature and Flowers – I bought it from the Craft Barn a long time ago!

I’d also like to link to the

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes

That’s all for now…

Thanks for looking

Back soon

Beautiful ink blending on the background and stamping with white ink really gives it a very pretty break! Coloring on the butterfly with prisma pencils is beautiful indeed. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
