There's a new challenge over at Try it on Tuesdays

Say it with Flowers!

We want to see flowers, flowers, flowers on your artwork!

As usual, you're welcome to interpret this any way you like, using any medium you prefer...

You have TWO WEEKS to join us in this challenge

Please go to check out the wonderful inspiration provided by the team  - some fabulous makes!

We love visiting your blogs and commenting on your art 😊

I made this card...

I made the background by sponging on Picked Raspberry and Toasted Marmalade  Distress Oxides, spritzing with water, then overstamping the words (Sandi Miller Stamps) in Picked Raspberry. The flower is a favourite Art Journey stamp - I just love this simple flower. I drew the stems with a Posca pen - and the words are from Stampendous. White highlights were added to the flowers with a Signo Stylus pen, then a little more Posca colour on the flower centres.

I'm happy to join the challenges at:-

Country View Challenges - Letters and/or Numbers

Mix it up Challenges - Inked background

Allsorts - Favourite stamp/image
(the background Art stamp is one of my all time favourite text background stamps)

I look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your wonderful art.

Thank you for calling in...

Hopefully, I'll be back soon

Another beautiful card Cath. I love the colours you have used and can understand this image being a favourite. Great how you have used white as an accent and deepened the colour of the centres afterwards.
Hugs, Neet x
