The current Paper Minutes challenge is Birds...so I made this...he's clearly standing on an uneven bit of ground...😊😉

I made the background with Dina's Scribble Sticks and a stencil...plus a touch of smooshing. The balloons and other bits are painted with Liquitex acrylics, as is the grass, though I watered it down.
I'm also linking to the Allsorts Challenge is to Make your own background.

This one I made last week, but didn't really like the way it turned out and half pulled it apart...it has foils and gold leaf on it as well as Delicata gold and Distress inks in my favourite Autumn shades. Background stamps are from an SU leaf set. The single leaf is an old PSX stamp I love, watercoloured with DIs and fussy cut. The rough frame is bits from my scrap box..

The first card is such fun Cath, he looks to be on even ground to me, but maybe that's because my world is rarely vertical so perhaps we have lots in common!! But what are Dina's Scribble Sticks I wonder, I do hope your's not enabling another crafty necessity for me.

And of course I lovely the Autumnal creation, beautiful warm colours with the mingling of leaves (fits over at Stamping Sensation you know?).

Thanks so much for sharing your vertically challenged birdie and joining us this week at Allsorts challenge.

Hi Cath, What a cute little birdie, he really will cheer someone's day.
Gorgeous colours in the autumnal card and the sentiment looks good in the frame.

WOW! This is my idea of the perfect autumnal card. The colours are absolutely amazing, there's lots of fabulous stamping and the stamps that you've used are just perfect for our theme. I love how you've stamped the sentiment in gold as it tones in beautifully with the autumnal colours in the background and the single leaf that's been cut out gives your card the perfect finish. What else is there to say other than I love it! Thank you for joining us in our 'Trees, leaves or Autumn' challenge at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x

Cath, your Hello Friend card literally speaks to me with those purples and blues and greens. Love how you painted with the acrylic, her hat in particular. And the background!

Your Autumn colors card is in every way gorgeous and very Autumnal. If you half tore that apart, you sure can put back together perfectly! <3 xoxo
