I thought I'd play a little with my Scribble Sticks (Dinah Wakley) and here's what I ended up with...

Using a Visible Image stamp (edged with black pen, fussy cut and stuck over the stamped image) with text and graphic stamps in Versafine Clair, 2 die cuts, punched stars and some inspirational words. Plus a hand drawn border...sorry, no idea which company the words are from.
This is yet another card that really should have been a journal page...
...so today, I decided to play in my watercolour journal instead, using Aall and Create and TH stencils, charcoal, die cut letters and some scribbles à la Dinah 😉
I'm linking to
Art Journal Journey Challenge, Dreams and Wishes.
Mix it Up, Open technique (stencilling and scribbling?)
More Mixed Media, ATG + Orange (there is a little orange...)
Thanks for calling in...
I'll be back soon

Who would have thought a pesky squirrel could have sidelined me for over three days. It ate through my phone/internet line and sidelined ME. Otherwise I would have been here sooner. I feel like I have missed SO much on your blog, but am struggling to catch up.

I really like your take on Eileen's theme at Art Journal Journey. That is a fabulous entry. I LOVE the DREAM letters you chose and the adorable watercolor people. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey.

The scribble sticks are a great medium to help create more freely, I love how you can add and take away with ease. Fab card but I must say I adore your journal page, those images are both eerie but striking.. The white pen really adds definition. Wishing you a super week... it's nearly the weekend YAYYY..

I love both, the card has a lot of contrast with the different colours and the snetiment is fantastic, and the page is hypnotic with that background and the figures, it's very interesting. Hugs.

Cath, I love both art pieces. You use those scribble sticks well. Have you ever used Gelatos or Caran d'arche Neo II's? Wondering if the scribble sticks are like either one of those (that I already have)? So did you wet them and brush or sponge them, or use your fingers? Really nicely blended on your card. I love the look. xoxo
