This is the challenge at Allsorts Challenge this week...so NOT me...so I decided that since it was a real challenge, I really had to try it... this one is a white embossed butterfly on vellum, a dry embossed background, stacked die cut words and a die cut stitched frame.

On this one, I took a different route and used a bit of white glitter... sparingly.
I saw these dies last year and really liked the idea of them, so you may see a few different types. I added glitter to the tree edges, the ground and the rooftops of the houses...die cut words again. Sadly, you can't really see the glitter, but it is quite pretty.
I took a photo to try to show it up a little more, but it's not brilliant...white is so difficult to photograph and especially when there isn't much natural light around.. you can see the glitter if you click to enlarge. But I also just noticed that the 'tréma' (Noël) is over the wrong vowel...duh!
Now why did I do that???
 😟

I really don't find dies easy to work with - I'd much rather stamp - nor do I find it easy to keep white white, because my fingers are usually full of glue, paint or ink! This was definitely a challenge for me 😉
I'd love to try something white with texture paste, but I just didn't get chance this week.
I may not get to play more today, so I'll also link this to Leah's Art Every Day Month... but I may be back later.

Thank you for popping in today
Back soon

I am so surprised to see you at Allsorts this week Cathy, but equally so happy as I know this is well outside your comfort zone as it is my own - hence the challenge to myself as well this week.

And not one but two, the Butterfly one has such dimension and every little detail shows up beautifully. Many thanks for making such petty cards to share at our White on White theme at Allsorts challenge.

I joined a group of six players one year who chose six different colors. One lady picked white and that was the MOST frustrating color for me. Your white on white turned out MUCH better than any of the AB tip-ins I made. You did a fabulous job and I love the house and trees die. If only (grin)! I think this is perfect for AEDM, too.

I do like white on white and have to say I really do like your little scene. I am not a glitter fan but it can come out at Christmas in my craft room but after that I am not a glittery person.
Well done on doing something with NO stamping.
Hugs, Neet xx

lol, don´t think this is something for me. But I like what you create. If you use a flashlight you can move it so you can see the glitter. It will need some angle for it to shine.

Hi Cath, your two cards are utterly gorgeous, be glad you made such beauties. Completely relate to how hard it is to keep that white white. I am a very neat person and the ink smudge monster even gets me. Wow, you chose a challenge, tho. Some of those entries looked like origami projects or sculptures, whew! xoxo P.S. - what is this katykrunch? Do you know my daughter's name is Katy? Katy Virginia...
