Lynne and I went to the Craft Show at Aintree on Saturday and had a great time. At one point, we had separated and were both at different stands, so when we met up again, we couldn't help laughing because we'd both bought wool - not only the same kind of wool, but the same two colours! Here's a close up of it knitted - fab stuff!
Other than that, I only bought ONE stamp (Penny Black), large eyelets and some ribbon - oh and some FAB Stem Ginger cheese...

My PC has been playing up for a few days and the last 8 or 9 days have been a bit crazy - one of those times when everything happens at once and you get very little time to yourself because you're either out, have visitors or you're on the phone - so I've not been able to do much, stamping wise. We did however manage to visit Mere Sands Wood again on Sunday and managed to get a few good pics. This is John's Damselfly - apparently, the first to be seen this year. Great photo! I also took photos of the loo graffiti - you'll love it so I'll upload it when I get round to it.

We just did a Stampbord mingle on KCUK and these are my offerings. I've always wanted to make one of these books, adapted from a project in the main Art Specially book and taught in a Katy's Corner workshop by my lovely friend, Lynne. I was quite envious of the other girls doing that workshop but I couldn't do anything about it because I was teaching another workshop at the same time! Lots of fun to make. That tea towel comes in handy :)

I enjoyed making the little angel card so much that I made another, slightly different one for a special friend's birthday. Here it is. I masked the text this time, to make it stand out more and I like that effect better. I also prefer the knotted ribbons. Lots of glitter, lol

It's that time of year again and we went to see the avocets at Marshside (just the other side of Southport) on Sunday. Lovely to see them and to have glorious sunshine for a change.

I've been really busy with life, but have still managed to stamp a little. Just made this for a friend. Someone just pointed out to me that this fits the Crazy Amigos challenge, Nature, so this is my entry, lol.

OOh, I've been given an award by Jenny and I'm thrilled to bits! Not just thrilled, but amazed that someone actually likes what I do enough to give the award to me. I just like to play with colour and really don't know what I'm doing, so this really is an honour.

The rules state that I have to nominate 10 blogs that 'Make me Smile' so I'll do that as soon as I can, but not right now, as I'm busy with other things.

Thanks very much, Jen! I'm overawed :)

Phew! I was going to stamp a few things today, amongst other things, but I decided I wanted three columns on this blog and so my quest began........... three hours later, I've lost some of the widgets but I've put the main ones back in and I'm pleased with the way it looks :) There were a few scary moments, though, when I had a totally different blog and even - at one point - no blog at all! I wish I knew more about HTML - a little knowledge is dangerous :)
Hope to stamp again later.
