Sparkling – lots of sparkle on this one.

sparkle

bw angel textDon’t think you can see the sparkle on this one, but it really is there :)

This one also fits in with this week’s Wednesday Stamper, Faerie/Fairy. Bit of a cheat, I know, but I’m using other stamps at the moment…

I used some of my Port Sunny stash here. I’ve always wanted that Penny Black stamp and couldn’t resist the Crafty Individuals Birds plate.

Still not stamping but I’ve been putting together some cards from images I’d already stamped. Lots of fun :)

Cath Voyage atcsNot very inspiring, but still not able to do much, unfortunately, so I used a single collage stamp – one that I’ve had for about 5 years and never used, shame on me.  I quite liked the colours.  I used Versamagic reinkers, which are lovely, true pastel shades.

S1051252  Found this little beauty in the garden today, but sadly, I’m not sure if he survived.  He made so much noise that his location was far from secret and – unfortunately - after a lot of chunnering from the adults and some apparent disturbance, he could no longer be heard.

One of my new stamps from Port Sunny - I just can't resist Stamp Camp images.

It's Port Sunny tomorrow and approx 28 (Wow!) KCUK members are meeting up there, so I thought I'd better break the habit of a lifetime and actually make some ATCs. Nothing fancy cos my hands won't let me play too much at the moment, but I’m hoping I’ll have enough!!!

I promised I'd upload these and I just found them, so I'll do it now. Great Graffiti!

Look wot I shot today. Apparently, it's un martin-pecheur - ooh-er. I think Kingfisher sounds much better :) John had nipped out and left me in charge of the 'REAL' camera - not my cheapo point and shoot Samsung, but his hi-tech Pentax DSLR with a HUGE zoom lens!
We waited over an hour for this, having just missed it when we arrived and have been to the same place for three weeks on the run, hoping to see it. It was worth it, though and seeing it skimming the water was something to remember. I expected it to be bigger than this but it was still a privilege to see it and no less awe inspiring. I'm seriously impressed :)
I wonder if I'll ever be able to afford a camera like this one. I suppose I could, if I sold all my stamping gear... don't be daft!!!!!??

I hate not having time to think about what I'm doing, but hey-ho - such is life at times. This is a Birthday card for a friend - simple but looks better IRL - I think! The glimmer mists don't show up in a scan and the colours aren't quite true. I had intended making something much more interesting but life took over. I do love this stamp from ISC, though.
