I have a basket full of (new- oh dear!) images stamped on backgrounds I've been making for years and today, I finally got round to making cards with some of them. Just wish it didn't take me quite so long to match colours! I didn't set out to use purple/lavender shades, but that's what I ended up doing.
I absolutely love the colours on the first one. It's one of those quickly made Alcohol ink backgrounds with Gold mixative running through it and is incredibly striking. I could probably never get that same colour blend again! Image from Innovative Stamp Creations.
The second one's from Paperbag Studios and the greeting's from Simple Expressions, which may soon be available again. I used a lot of the Ranger Inkssentials pen on this one, but it's hard to see without a close up, which Blogger won't allow at the moment! I'm working on it.
Glad you enjoyed the article Cath :0) Love these- My favourite of these has to be the last one :0) The scroll really sets it off well..oh and the flower of course ;0)

Beautiful colours, Cath. You've made me want to get my AIs out again!
Thanks, Chris(es)! You know, it took five minutes before I realised what AIs were? Duh! If I had a brain........
you can never have too much purple in my opinion, these are gorgeous, and I do love the flower!
