Not brilliant but I wanted to try the stamps out. May have to remount and embellish – or I would if I had more time!
This one was really dark so I added some white pen highlights, which lightened it a bit… must get the white acrylic out and do my favourite thing with text. The mica inks look gorgeous in real life – bits of shiny teal glimmer through.
This was inspired by the Art Journey Blog. Love these colours, as you may have noticed, and had these stamps a while, but haven’t had chance to use them. You’d think that with no time to play, I wouldn’t have been buying stamps, eh? Errrr, think again! I have a big basket full of those I’ve accrued over the last six months (beginning with October’s Port Sunny show) and have hardly used – including some which were birthday pressies from my lovely friends. Something to look forward to.

They are very beautiful)) Love the background's colouring a lot)) All is so bright and great!!!!!!
Great backgrounds Cath and lovely images. Great you've found time to play.
Hope your course is going ok. Passed all my assignments, just got a personal skills presentation to present in the middle of May and write a reflective journal, then we are done for this year. Just finished for Easter for 2 weeks and then we miss a week in May for a bank holiday and our last Session is 29 June, so when you break it down, nearly done for this year, just one more year to go - lol xxxxx
The backgrounds are great Cath. Alsio the addition of the white pen really makes a difference.
Enjoy your weekend.
