A bright and cheerful journal page

I’m coming to realise that not all stamps are created equal. I’m not a big fan of clear stamps to begin with, although I love the way they’re so easy to position, but they never seem to stamp as perfectly as real rubber and they just don’t last. Couldn’t resist this one and although I love it, I wouldn’t recommend it cos of the quality. Hey ho… we live and learn.

Beautiful. I know what you mean about polymer stamps. I was a big fan of them when I first started stamping but now . . . I find a lot of inks pool on the stamp so you don't get a good result. Of course it's better if you use 'sticky' inks but it does limit what you can do. And of course if one gets stuck to a backing sheet and you pull hard you can come away with a little bird tail in your hand and it won't grow back on no matter how hard you try, roflmao! xx
O you have been busy these days, cards look wonderful.
I know what you mean about the clear stamps! Nothing like the red rubber !

Very lovely work again, dear Cath!
Yes, real rubber rules! But you've done a great job here, I love this bird.
Hmmm is this pink or lilac LOL Yes, who'd have thought, me stepping away from pink but those are only tiny steps away, the previous post was brimming with pinkness!!
Oh the old debate. I have Anna Corba clear stamps and find the quality to be good but I have inferior cling and they are a waste of money.
So good to see you back where you belong, creating art.

I would buy good old red rubber EVERY time if I could!!! I too find that clear does not last and goes sticky over time.....that said I would buy that bird....it's FAB!!!
Love your cards Cath, the colours you have used are brill. I got some of those birds with the writing on have not had chance to use them yet. The ones I got are rubber
OH WOW THIS IS BEAUTIFUL YOU SURE ARE CLEVER WITH INKS XX
Another stunner :) I love the rubber best too though I do use a lot of the clear stamps too and some are definitely better than others :)
