'What you do speaks so loudly, I can't hear what you say.'
Ralph Waldo Emerson

The background is Wild Honey and Crushed Olive Distress inks, with lots of splashed water.  I liked the look of it, but it’s a bit too ‘mucky’ looking for me, so I layered it up on Primrose yellow and white, to lift the colours a little.  No background stamping because I was trying to keep this one simple. The primrose and white don’t show very well, though – it’s brighter than this.

I’m out all day today, then going for a little break, so see you soon xxx

Comment number two from me as the postman brought me a lovely surprise today, this card and it is even more lovely in the flesh.
A big thanks to you Cath for thinking of me, and my poorly ankle, and for a beautiful card.

Oh, I am so glad that I have found you again. I changed computers and lost all my bookmarks. I have had the most joyous time seeing all the wedding preparations, and your gorgeous son and his beautiful wife.

The joy of your family gathering and the sadness again of those going their separate ways.

And now you are taking a break - but I'll not lose you again - and will be back when you are back. Your work is absolutely stunning -loving all the new stamps. Good luck with the job hunting - keeping my fingers and toes crossed that you'll soon find something suitable.
