'What you do speaks so loudly, I can't hear what you say.'
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sunday, 8 April 2012

I’ve had this book a while and wanted to work through it when I first got it but didn’t have either the time or the desire but yesterday, I was inspired by Willy’s post about 21 Secrets and decided to look for it.

I spent most of the evening working through the first ‘chapter’ of it and here’s what came from it.

LOL p1   LOL p2

Then, this morning, I was up early and started messing around with Prismas. I can'’t begin the next step because it’s too steep for me yet and I need to get used to Step 1, which is being comfortable with making mistakes – a BIG lesson for me!

LOL p3   LOL p4

Wishing you all a Happy and Blessed Easter Sunday!

This is obviously a very personal journey Cath.......but I always thought us bloggers were used to mistakes, how else are we to learn...and the learning is the adventure. Annette x

I saw Willy's post too.
I'm good on making mistakes, I have no problem there lol my whole crafting/stamping career is based upon 'yes I mean to do that' said with a twinkle in my eye. I don't mind making mistakes at all...usually they are for the better and I do teach that at my workshops that it doesnt matter if things go pear shaped lol...

But I DO have a job wearing my heart on my sleeve though. I'm still uable to write in a journal. I can't even do those calendar pages. It's how I survive I guess.

Hmm...maybe I should try harder.

Thought provoking, thank you.

Beautiful, inspiring pages Cath. Love the colour you've introduced into the book. I bet I've had my copy longer than you haha and it's still in a pristine condition. I have a few of her other books too and love the idea of making a mess without actually being able to let myself really go and actually do it. You're not alone but hey, you're one step ahead of me at the very least :) Pxx

Fabulous journal pages! I have wanted to start a journal, but have no idea how. Will have to go check out Willy's post, because I am now inspired. Of course, having a journal to work in, might help! Have a great week!

Hi Cath these are fabulous, I make plenty of mistakes, but I don't like it and usually try to rectify it LOL. Journaling is really hard I've never kept a diary and find it very difficult to put on paper my darker thoughts & even my more frivolous ones. x
