Bit of journalling in my A4 journal.  This is how I left it last night.

<KENOX S1050  / Samsung S1050>

I used stencils and Kaleidacolour inks after using Inktense blocks (yummy) and pencils to draw the heart and add some background colour.  I think I need to start using less water because the pages are starting to fall apart…

This is how it looks now and I want to do more but I also want to get on to the next bit.

I’m entering these into the Make My Monday Challenge for this week, which is DISTRESSED

and

Inspiration Journal’s Challenge, which is Favourite Things – mine are colour, flowers and getting inky!  My other favourite thing is interactive lifty up bits, so I can also enter the pages.

Hope you’re all enjoying your EASTER break – Happy Easter from me!

I organised a Matchbox Mingle for KCUK and of course, as usual, I was last minute with mine… only sent it yesterday but thankfully it has arrived today and the deadline is Easter Sunday, so I’m on time :-D

I made my matchbox with the WAMK Envelope board (see You Tube for lots of ideas) and opted for the larger one, simply because I wanted to include one of those little concertinas I made for the Faux Batik class and I wanted to put it IN the box.

Here are the front and back of the box:-

And here’s the new front I made for the concertina book.

I’m entering these into the Anything Goes challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More.

I’ve managed to spend some time bloghopping this week, catching up with a lot of you who I have SO missed!  Lovely to chat with some of you and thank you all for your inspiration.

A special friend of mine, Dot, bought these stamps for my recent birthday (21 AGAIN!) so I played for a little while.

The top and bottom cards were made with what was left on my sponges, after working on the Faux Batik… amazing how much ink we waste.

JOURNALLING

A little poetic licence here – I’m entering the journal pages into the Allsorts Spring Blossoms Challenge.

And a card for a very special friend…

I’m teaching at Stamp club - Victoria  (Vicky) Stampers - this weekend and decided on Faux Batik for my technique, so here are some of my inky samples.

I’m entering these into the new (second week) That’s Crafty Challenge (one of my favourite stamp shops) – Inky Antics.

This is the first of a few concertina books I’ve also made.  I’m afraid hardly any of the words are stamped straight – oops – will have to apologise for that but I do have an excuse!  Not as much batik on this one, either – it was one of the iron off pieces.

I’ll post some more in a few days.

Thanks for visiting!
