A special friend of mine, Dot, bought these stamps for my recent birthday (21 AGAIN!) so I played for a little while.

The top and bottom cards were made with what was left on my sponges, after working on the Faux Batik… amazing how much ink we waste.

JOURNALLING

A little poetic licence here – I’m entering the journal pages into the Allsorts Spring Blossoms Challenge.

And a card for a very special friend…

Meantime, I just noticed Brenda some Blog Candy, if you’d like to go check it.

Happy Sunday to you all.  Hope you have a great week.

I'm surprised how much ink was left on your sponges. You're right, we do waste a lot, wow. Love your stamped designs. So beautiful in their colour and natural themes. You always bring the best out in floral stamps. Pxx

I will then need a picture from you, I would like to use the first one in this blogpost...

Beautiful! I have a session with a water spray and my ink dusters from time to time, and can always get at least pastel shades with no ink at all! Love how you have used these stamps. I keep looking at them and thinking I ought to have a go at drawing something like them... never do though! Thanks for your lovely comments. Blogger seems to have removed me from your followers, but I have rectified the situation now. If you get the chance I can recommend a short break in the Lockerbie or Moffat area. Red squirrels are just about guaranteed at Eskrigg nature reserve and the scenery is wonderful
