My son’s birthday card…. I think it’s a little OTT but I enjoyed making it
I even used glitter…Ooooh!!!
The inside…
Just a bit of catching up again.
Still more to come, so I’ll be back soon.
Thanks for looking.

I haven’t been blogging, but I’ve been playing…
Izzi (Grandaughter) day is one of those days when it’s impossible to get online, but they’re almost over now… my little darling starts school the week after next
August Bank Holiday is always a good family time, though because it’s her Daddy’s birthday and this time is rather special because he will be 40 tomorrow!
Eeek! Where do the years go????
The party was yesterday, so here’s a snippet of my little Treasure.
Now, back to the artwork… I’ve been journalling and playing with watercolour…
This one’s à la Maremi… YouTube – pure watercolour play… lots of fun! I highly recommend it!
And here’s a card that’s a long way from my usual style, but I just felt like doing something a little different
I have more cards to share, so I’ll be back soon…
Thanks for looking.

I love techniques of all kinds, but I especially love resist techniques, and I really couldn’t resist playing around with simple clear embossing resist.
This one was for a Christmas in August mingle on KCUK.
I’m not over impressed with the next one and of course I found the stamp I really wanted to use when I’d already stamped it! That one says,
‘We’re all stars…we just twinkle at different times’
and I agree wholheartedly with that sentiment.
There’s nothing subtle about the next one…
I photographed the inks I used when I’d finished sponging.
I’d like to enter this one into the Try it on Tuesday ‘In my Garden’ challenge’.
The next card was one I made earlier in the year, for the birthday of a very special friend!
Thanks for looking…
See you soon!

I bought this set of stamps ages and ages ago (from Ebay) but didn’t really use them, so when I spotted them, I thought I’d have a little play and I love the results!
These two cards are from a set Mum brought me when over from NZ a few months ago… I didn’t find them easy to use but I played with them for a while, just messing, really.
There’s another one somewhere, but I don’t appear to have taken a photo.
Found it!
This card is made with one of my all time favourite stamps – the grasses! I tried for a long time to get hold of it and since I have, I’ve used it a over and over again. One of my best ever buys, though you can only see a little of it here.
And another I made a little while ago…
Plus, a drawing…
See you very soon!

I managed to get into my old Blogger account, so I can use my old blog – yoohoo! Is it really 3 years since I blogged here? My, my how time flies…
I’ve moved (again!) since then and am now well and truly settled where I am. I’ve also rediscovered stamping, which is amazing. Sometimes we have to go through ‘stuff’ to get creative again…
I’m struggling to upload this for some reason but will keep on trying… I’m so pleased I’ve found this app – it’s just as good as Windows Livewriter was!
Last week I decided I really ought to get to grips more with my gelli plate/s so I spent a little time with it, using stamps. I’ll be trying more in the future, but this is the result…
This one is a small oval plate, just using a stencil.
More inky layer artwork…
More Clean and Simple
Thanks for looking… you’re appreciated.

Long time no see…again! Is it really so long?
4 very kind comments from lovely people at Wednesday, August 09, 2017Yesterday’s upload, so I’m up to date.
I’ve recently started stamping again and am well and truly smitten and having great fun
I’ve already posted to my other blog but I’ll repost here what I did there.
I started with some nice, simple designs – I’ve always liked clean and simple cards, so this was a nice, easy way to get back into it. Here are a few of the ones I made.
Then I started to play with some of the backgrounds I’d made – just finishing them off with highlights and a bit more colour, making them into the following cards.
That’s it for now. I’ll be back in a day or two and keep updating until I’ve uploaded what I’ve photographed, hopefully adding as I go along
Thanks for looking – especially to any of my older followers.
