… and Frame and Flutterby (well, that’s what I call ‘em, lol)

F for Friends
This is for the KCUK Chunky Alphabet swap and what was in my WOYWW easel..

This is an Art Journey stamp, which I’ve stamped and embossed, then cut out from its background to make a totally new stamp, something I often do.  I love the fact that I can then use it on any background I like.    For some reason, I’ve attached the embossed frame the wrong way around, so it’s DEbossed, but never mind.  Still looks okay, lol.  The Flutterby is from one of my favourite Innovative Stamp Creations plates and has to be my all time favourite flutterby.  Inks are Ecoline and Colorbox Pigment inks.

Hi Cath, love this , it's just one of my favourites! The way the centre, rich in colour, pops out from the dark frame, it's all fab. I have to have that stamp ROFL :D xxx

Don't you think a black background is fab for really showing off your art, it works wonderfully here especially with the orange/terracota colours. Great piece. Tracy Evans x

Great stamp and item !!

Well it looked deliberate and very effect. Think orange and black is even more dramatic than red and black xx Zoe

Great colours, Cath and the contrast between the dark frame and lighter colours really shows off the central image.

Kath that KCUK is fraught with worry about a typo that could result in offense .. I must be careful (I'm not known for that particular trait) love the flutterby - really intense colour -

Have I fallen into a deep sleep and slept for a month as I have no idea how I missed so much of your art. Anyway, this is adorable and particular love the way you framed the friends. Too Cute. Lynne x
