Back to J again for my 4x4 pages and although I stayed with the J for Jigsaw theme, I added a Japanese slant this time.
I gessoed the jigsaw piece first – hence the bloom, I think – added the colour (Tombow felt tip) then stamped and embossed the Windy Geisha, bleached the colour from her skin, the kimono and the ‘brolly’, colouring them with a sparkly gold gel pen and edging with black felt tip. (Phew! That was a LONG sentence, lol). Embellishments coloured with Krylon Gold pen.

A long sentence for a long process which gave an excellent result! It looks so much bigger than 4 x 4 with all it's detail.
Thanks BTW for your lovely comment on my blog!

Wonderful, somehow the image is soft and romantic even against the drama of the red background. xx zoe

Gorgeous letter J. You are on a roll. The sentence may be long, but I love long run-on sentences as long as the make lots of sense. Seriously, this is beautiful. I'm so impressed by all the stamping you do and all the techniques you used on this piece alone.
Thanks for dropping by today and leaving such a wonderful message. It was thoughtful and sweet of you. I'm having trouble with your blog showing a photo on my sidebar. I can't figure out why it doesn't pick the first photo in the post, since you are on blogger. Guess it's one of those mysteries that only blogger or a real computer genius can figure out!
Love it !!!
