Criss-Cross Karte Natur
Things are still pretty surreal here – the sun is shining, the sky is beautifully blue and clear and the trees look as if they’re filled with Spring blossom – not snow and ice! The frozen snow is slowly thawing but then it will freeze again tonight. I still can’t get my boots on so am still grounded – how can I not take advantage of that?
This first one is a bit of a mess, but it looked pretty good at 2am :) I used nothing but Cat's’ eyes to colour it so I was pretty pleased with it but in the cold light of day, it’s not brilliant, lol.
This one lost a star en route to the scanner – duh!

Hello Cathy! I love your two "angel" cards. The first one may just be more imp than angel. He has such a cheeky little face. The second is lovely and the ice angel does look decidedly icy in her purplish blue surroundings. Great artwork.
Thanks so much for joining in the challenge.
Cheers from Marie aka Ozstuff (one of the Three Muses).
Both beautiful pieces ... Love the purple one especially!
Very lovely angels, love both of them!
Linda
Hi Cathy, welcome to the Three Muses I love both of your angel cards, the colours are gorgeous but quite cool in both pieces, me thinks they reflect the icy feel of what is going on out of doors here in the UK.
I wish we could bottle some of our snow and ice and send it to Marie, who is sweltering in Australia. I love your angels, Cathy, and I'm so glad you joined in our challenge this week. Do come back!
They are both fabulous! I love the colours and shading of the first one - 2am or not it's great. Your ice angel is terrific too. If you can't go out you might as well create! Keep warm!
These are both beautiful angel entries each different and expressive on their own! Lovely work!
Beautiful angel pieces!
Oh wow these are darling. Wonderful angels.
I think it's a pretty good mess!.. I love the colours!
They are both spectacular! I'm glad I came by to see your work today!
Hi Cath :) Linda
Great use of colours on the cards. What a surprise to see my butterfly notebook on your Blog - I am not worthy!!! Thanks also for your comments on my Blog about Somerset - you have always been a source of encouragement. Lynne M x
Both beautiful! I love the background on the second - did you use distress inks?
Fab angels love the purple/blue one best even if it did lose a star
For me I prefer the first one Cath.
That entry is so adorable.
Love the mix of colours on the first one and the mono tone of the second! Both lovely for different reasons.
xoxo
Lovely work!
