Ever had one of those days when EVERYTHING goes wrong???? I’ve had one today and this is what I salvaged…

Make a wish

This was originally a full sized card but it ended up being an ATC – duh! I was using glossy card and no matter which ink I used, the stamp wouldn’t stamp clearly, so I gave up and used watercolour paper. It’s a bit better but still not perfect. I must look into which inks are best to use on clear stamps. I’m NOT a big fan of them but sometimes the images are too gorgeous to resist.

I obviously didn't read the Challenge blog post properly before I did this or I'd have realised that 'Make a Wish' referred to something I wish for - not just to 'Make a Wish'. I'll have another go cos I know that I wish for right now... my first card would have illustrated that, too - duh!

Love it. It looks rgeat, great colours. I use Brilliance Black when I use clear stamps, that one works best for me.

It's gorgeous - when I have had a stamp that hasn't quite stamped perfectly, I have cheated and coloured it in black.

I think it's beautiful, Cath! I tend to use versafine on glossy card with clear stamps. It takes an age to dry but gives better coverage. Like Lottie, I keep a fine tipped sharpie to touch up where there are any missing bits.

I think we all have those kinds of days but you've still created something that's really beautiful. I love the colours.
I have the same trouble stamping siloutte designs with clear stamps, the black never seems to stamp properly. I end up coulouring it in with a black sharpie to get the depth of balck I want!
