Three challenges included in that title...
This card is for Stamping Sensations and PB&M, using my favourite Hero Arts Spring stamp, cut up into individual phrases or words... I've added Nuvo Crystal Drops and Glitter Drops to some of the raindrops, but it isn't easy to see it. The flowers were stamped onto white card, overstamped with text stamps for a bit of interest, then coloured, cut out and pieced over the ones already on the background.
This one is for Allsorts, with flowers, a butterfly and a stencilled Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide background.
SSS Wednesday's Challenge is 'No Patterned Paper' so I'll link to that, too 😊
I've decided I'm going to make a conscious effort to try to blog more regularly, instead of blogging 5 or 6 items in one post... I tend to get distracted from blogging the things I make, or can't wait to get back in my craft room! Maybe that will mean I don't actually miss some of the challenges I'm inspired by 😉
Thank you for calling in today...
I'll be back soon

15 very kind comments from lovely people:
For once I'm not late visiting. These are gorgeous cards. First, I like the glitter you got on the raindrops (I enlarged the card) and I love the text stamp. At first, I thought you had used book pages. I like the whimsy, too.
The second card is incredible. Realism at its best and that stenciled background is out of this world. Both cards are fabulous, and each is so different, which I really like.
Spring is such a great theme for art, isn't it? Loving these cards, especially that first one which is so whimsical. I love the raindrops you added and those happy circles. Hope your weekend isn't rainy but sunny and beautiful. Hugs-Erika
Two more beautiful cards Cath, I have to admit I do have a favourite today and its the wonderful poppy image.

Right on in there girl and taking my challenges by storm!!
I do like those funky flowers and great idea adding the text to add interest, then the raindrops so covering all the options outside at the moment as we are getting a bit if it all today. Thanks so much for making a special card for our themes at Stamping Sensations, Penny Black and More and Allsorts.
Thought I was finished, of course not because there's a Poppy which can't go without a mention now can it, beautiful of course and a gentle hint that's I've not inked that stamp in a very long while.

Gosh Cath, I can't keep up with you! You must have such a productive craft room and I can just imagine all the activity going on in there. Two more beautiful cards and I especially like the first one with it's rain and flowers, although I love your Poppy card too. Thank you for joining us in our 'April Showers Bring May Flowers' challenge at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x

A great card entered in to our challenge this month for "Spring", so much work has gone in to this and that poppy creation is super too! Many thanks for joining us at Penny Black and More this month xxxx
Fabulous cards Cath, love the funky flowers, they look stunning against your background. It's a beautiful poppy stamp, really pops against the subtle background.

Beautiful cards again and despite the second one featuring a poppy (my favourite flower) I cannot choose a favourite here. The first card is lovely and I do like your choice of colours for the background. The flowers stamped and coloured with text over stamped on them is a brilliant idea.
When we come to the poppy card I love how you have used grey for the background. I do like grey as a neutral background and used with this stencil it looks really good. the poppy really pops against this background and I just love the words you have used.
Hugs, Neet xx
Both fabulous card Cath, I know what you mean about that creative space bug. Once in there it's hard to get back out again. Flowers I find are every inspiring from quirky designs to those that give a touch of still life they always bring a smile. It's not an easy task blogging and keeping up with everyone but for me it's my main place to be (when I don't get locked out of my account :D) I look forward to seeing your playday creations.
Hugs for the week ahead Tracey xx
Two beautiful inky designs. I love the poppy against the grey background.
