The new theme over on the Try it on Tuesday Challenge Blog is one of my favourites -Thankful.

Our American and Canadian friends have the privilege of celebrating Thanksgiving – what a great idea!

I’ve made a simple card for this week – using a Unity Stamps image and some Impression Obsession words. Blowing Dandelion clocks is definitely ‘up there’ on my list of small things to be thankful for Smile and is one of the first things I taught my granddaughter to do.

THANKFUL BLESSED 1

I stamped – and overstamped – the words in the background because they are all emotions this simple little act evoke in me. For me, it’s all about childhood and memories (good ones) and that amazing feeling of being a teeny weeny part of nature and the whole of creation.

I do hope you’ll join us for this challenge.  Let’s focus on what we’re thankful for, rather than what we’re not… it really does make a difference.

Thanks for looking

See you soon

What a delightful card Cath, the little girl blowing her dandilion clock really captures a windy day, it's an image that could be adapted to most seasons (maybe not winter as she isn't wearing a coat!)

Am so enjoying this "one card post" of yours, much easier to comment. And comment I will on this lovely card. I do like the Unity images you have - so pretty and evocative, and this one sums up the child in all of us. Who does not like to blow on a dandelion head? Well, maybe I would be careful not to fill my garden with seed heads these days but oh what joy to be in a meadow with tiny ones doing just that.
Thanks for a lovely card and wonderful memories.
hugs, Neet xx
