Today has been a day of cardmaking… no journaling.
First of all, today I’m thankful for YOU, the people who visit my blog. Thank you so very much!
The big plus of the internet – despite all its drawbacks – is the fact that we can have friends from all over the world and, even though we’ve never (in most cases) met, we share a passion for art, which bonds us together. I’m grateful for that and grateful for all of you.
I’m linking this to AEDM – Art Every Day Month.
I used a Penny Black stamp I’ve had for over a year… so I’m also linking it to the Anything Goes challenge at Retro Rubber Challenge and to the Thanks challenge on Dare 2B Artsy, so I’ll link to that.
Make My Monday are looking for Stencil Stories; I used stencils in the next card I made, using some new stamps. I enjoyed colouring this, using Prisma Pencils.
I used a stencil for the ground… My imagination was running riot as I was colouring and I decided these two ladies had come to meet up after their separate holidays, to share all the latest gossip and hear about each other’s fab time away in the sun! I tried to make them look sunkissed but it doesn’t show very well…
I think the tea and cake links nicely to Inkspirational’s Table Photo challenge.
This blossom was stencilled, using Tombow pens, words stamped.
The theme at Sweet Stamping is Trees… this one is from Lavinia Stamps and is a gorgeous stamp, but I NEED the smaller version to go with it
My final – simple - card for today is for Fashionable Stamping and for Paperminutes, who both have a Book pages theme – stamped or actual pages – this one is (obviously) stamped
This is one of my favourite older stamps and I really didn’t do her justice – must use her again! It’s just one of those quirky little images that appeals to me…
Last, but not least, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Make your Own Background. I’ll link one of the above cards to that.
Thank you very much for visiting… I do appreciate each and every one of you!
Thanks for looking
Back soon (hopefully tomorrow…)
Cath

I had planned to stop by yesterday, but I got really sick. You make the most beautiful cards. Each is a beauty in its own right, and there is NO WAY I could pick just one. Sorry I'm so late visiting from AEDM. I'll try to do better today.
